I tried these out when I was under the delusion that I could switch back to Android phones and and get out of the Apple ecosystem. Turns out I couldn't, the seamless experience of using everything Apple was a luxury that I took for granted. So I can compare these to the AirPods Gen 2 (non pro version) as those are the earbuds I regularly use. These are one of the very few wireless earbuds out there that don't have a silicone or foam bit that goes into the ear canal. This was a very important consideration for me as I have an ear condition that can lead to wax build-up and impact if I use those traditional silicone tip style earbuds too much. So these were as comfortable as my AirPods, and the case they come with is pretty snazzy. It connects easily, almost as effortlessly as AirPods do with the iPhone. The sound quality however is not as good. It's acceptable, but the AirPods definitely sound better. I'd give sound quality a 6.5/10, and AirPods a solid 9. Since you can technically use AirPods with Android phones, I'd probably go that route if budget isn't an issue. For the price it's pretty good though, and I appreciate that it charges with USB C.

The open case design makes the earpods dirty and necessitates buying a zip case. Sound is good during media playback but during calls the sound becomes low.
